Two posts in one day!

Amazing, I know... But I am totally going to join Holly Lisle as she asks: Want to write a book with me? Do I want to write a book alongside Holly Lisle as she writes hers? Of course! Thanks to Marjorie Liu for the link.

Check out Holly's post, but basically this is not a challenge or something where you might be chastised in any way for not meeting targets. This is Holly offering herself as the 'rabbit' that you can keep pace with as you write your next/current project. She is aiming to write 250-500 words a day, 5 days a week. I know I was writing a lot more words than that when I was racing through the second half of BEAUTIFUL GHOSTS, but this new project is going to be slower. I can feel it in my bones. ;)

So the London book is looking like an adult book. I am wary of this, but I have to finish one adult ms just to see if I can. (The Norse project is still sitting with a couple of chapters done, and I don't know when I'll write that.) I still don't have a title for the Shiny!New! project, but [info]sora_blue has declared it to be: Kaz's Awesome London Book: Now with 20% More Robots!* Which makes me smile. I'm going to start on Sunday, and just try to keep to a page or two a day, while also finshing up the revisions on BG.

*Please note, there are NO robots in this book. Chandra is a bit mad, but don't tell her I said that...

First off, I'm really enjoying The Eternal Kiss. Your story had me begging for more. Such a tease. ;)

I think I may join you and Holly. I'm almost done charting out my YA. Fingers and toes crossed it'll be finished by Monday. The word count she suggests is easily achievable. Hmm... wondering if I'm ready. *g*

Thank you!! I'm so happy that you liked the story - and that you're enjoying the whole anthology. It'll be good research for your YA stuff. *g*

I'm hoping to work on my new project Sunday/Monday. I'm pre-writing in my head. I think I will try this one slowly and with little actual planning. I want to play & enjoy it! I hope you DO join in. :)

I really am enjoying the anthology. I'm about halfway through. I'll probably finish it within the next few days. (I read REALLY slow.) Yes, it will help with my YA stuff. At least it's giving me a good idea of how far some of the storylines can go.

I think you're going to enjoy writing this book. I'm still held up with the opening and the black moment towards the end. (I have to know the beginning and ending before I can write a book.) Hopefully something will clear so I can get started next week. It's frustrating.

Well it's about time you're finding something to fill all that time you've spent being bored. :)

Wow, sounds neat. I may have to check it out. At least you're doing something on the new project. Just means you'll get it done all the faster! Good luck with it!

I skimmed the "Want to write a book with me?" email yesterday and thought, yes, that sounds like a good thing to do. Thanks for reminding me. :)

Cool! It sounds like a perfect way to bring back the love of writing, rather than be struggling and beating ourselves up to achieve high word counts. :)

*is intrigued* Maybe I'll even do this on new super-seekrit project... I will check it out.

Btw, I love that you're as much of a Marjorie fangirl as I am now. Took you long enough! ;P

I think you should. I mean srsly (tm) - a page a day and you're done.

Yay! I am LOVING Marjorie's stuff. I think it's the novella, Hunter Kiss, that really did it for me. :)

NO robots? But you can't write about Anna, a robot ninja from the planet England, without having at least ONE robot! ;-)

LOL! I will have to ask her if she is a robot ninja... ;)

I am so excited about your London book. It is going to be pretty darn cool. Good luck with revising BG.

You will be proud, I am breaking through the mythical 40k mark today...am 200 words away...just couldn't do it last night - managed 800 but fell asleep on keyboard! NOT a good look.

Mark no doubt thinks the books should be called: Kaz's Awesome London Book: now with 20% more ZOMBIES. Or something.

Thanks, luv!

And yes, I am very VERY proud of you. That's awesome!!!

Maybe I will call it: Kaz's Awesome London Book: Now With 20% More FAERIES! Tell Mark that. Faeries are much better than zombies. ;)

Okay, I think I'm tired. I initially read "Kaz's Awesome London Book: Now with 20% More Rabbits!" And since it's me, tired or not, I didn't find that weird at all. :D
