What I am doing right now...

...is not what I am supposed to be doing.

I am supposed to be revising BEAUTIFUL GHOSTS.

What I am actually doing is day-dreaming a new project into existence. So far a lot has changed since I first conceived of the 'London Book' as I've been calling it, at least until I come up with something resembling a real title. I even wrote 3 pages today, just to try out the voice of my main character and I love it! Very different from anything I've written so far, and I hope that in this case 'different' = Good. ;)

I've opened the BEAUTIFUL GHOSTS file now, like a good little writer. Onto Chapter 10 I go...

I have to say, I envy your desire and smooth ability to flirt with other story ideas while you're deeply involved with one. I'm a very monogamous writer. When I get an idea and commit to it, I don't even so much as look at another voice or plot until the original book is complete and on submission.

That worries me now, given that I am thisclose to the end of my wip, ready to move on, and I've got nothing else going on in my head.

Well, I envy your dedication. Seriously, I'm really not all that dedicated. I start losing interest in my projects at the 30k mark, and it's all I can do to FINISH. heh. :)
