And I just can't hide it (anymore)! :)

I am so proud and happy to announce that I have accepted representation from super-agent Miriam Kriss of the Irene Goodman Literary Agency.

The last six months of waiting have been more than worth it. I really felt a connection with Miriam, and it certainly doesn't hurt that she represents so many amazing authors in a genre I love so much: Vicki Pettersson, Lilith Saintcrow, Rachel Vincent, Keri Arthur, Jenna Black, Jackie Kessler, and I'm sure lots of people I've missed. *faints* I honestly don't feel worthy of this... It's crazy and unreal and I am so, so happy! Miriam is passionate about books - and especially about urban fantasy - and I admire that so much about her. It's infectious. After revisions on my YA contemporary fantasy, THE IRON WITCH, we'll be submitting to publishers and I'll be biting my nails all over again.

Everyone I know online who is part of this fantastic community of writers and readers - I don't know what I would've done without you. Seriously. Over here in the UK there isn't the same level of interest in urban fantasy and YA fiction (not quite yet, anyway), so to find all these like-minded people in one place... So. Cool.

It's been my dream to be a published writer since I was about 12 years old. I know I'm not there yet, but I just took a step closer...
